He grew up in a musical environment, his parents were members of the Rozkvet choir, his father was a conductor. Slavomír received his musical education at the Primary School of Music in Prievidza, later at the Conservatory in Žilina under prof. Mária Balážová. After graduation in 1999 he was employed in the State Chamber Orchestra in Žilina.

In 2000 he returned to the Žilina Conservatory, where he studied choral conducting under prof. Štefan Sedlický and studied composition, piano and singing. From 2002 to 2006 he studied music education at the University of Žilina.

Slavomir's main artistic hobby was singing. He sang in the Prievidza Rozkvet Choir and the Žilina Mixed Choir. He led the vocal octet of the Žilina Conservatory (1997) and later the Cosmopolitan Singers (1999-2005), with whom he performed at several festivals.

Slavomír contributed to the music for the theatre play Cinderella and took part in the Coronation Ceremony in St. Martin's Cathedral. In 2009 he soloed as countertenor in Charpentier's Missa Asumpta and performed in the play Faust at the Slovak National Theatre.

He is the artistic leader and first violinist of Adventure Strings. He is a member of the State Chamber Orchestra in Žilina, occasionally performs with Archi di Slovakia and devotes himself to teaching.

Ivo Remenec

His father, a concertmaster in the State Chamber Orchestra in Žilina, brought him to the violin. He began his violin studies quite late, at the age of 8, at the Ladislav Arvay Elementary School with Hana Hrochová and later with Marcela Danišová. He successfully completed his studies with a demanding concerto in D minor by Henri Wieniawski.

He was admitted to the Conservatory in Žilina to the distinguished teacher Bohumil Urban. During his studies he took part in the International Kocian Competition in Ústí nad Orlicí. After successful graduation from the Conservatory he taught at the ZUŠ in Kysucke Nové Mesto and later at the ZUŠ Ladislav Arvay in Žilina.

At the same time, he studied music education - instrument playing at the University of Žilina under prof. Mikuláš Jelínek. He studied a number of violin concertos and sonatas and successfully auditioned for the State Chamber Orchestra in Žilina. Here he made numerous tours in Europe, Asia and America. In 2005 he toured China with his wife Klaudia and the Vienna Youth Orchestra.

Currently Ivo continues to play with the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra. In addition to concerts with the orchestra and quartet, he also goes out to play on his own in his spare time, which brought him success in 2017 thanks to an offer from Google, when he had the opportunity to perform at its international conferences in Dublin, Milan and London.

Klaudia Remencová

He comes from Žilina, from a family of professional musicians. She started playing the cello at the age of four under the guidance of Július Mehly. At the age of nine she was admitted to the Žilina Conservatory for exceptionally gifted children. In 1993 she started full-time studies and won the 1st prize at the Competition for Students of Slovak Conservatories.

During her studies she performed a number of concert pieces and five cello concertos. In 1998 she received a scholarship for courses in Bergen (Holland) and in 1999 she represented Slovakia at the concert "Young Artists from European Countries" in Eisenstadt (Austria).

After thirteen years of cooperation with Július Mehly, her teacher was MgA. Květa Glasnáková. She completed her studies at the Žilina Conservatory in 2000 under the direction of Roman Harvan with a concert with ŠKO Žilina and conductor Leoš Svárovský.

She was offered to study in Helsinki, but decided to go to the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien at Univ. Prof. Valentin Erben. She played under the batons of conductors such as Kirk Trevor, Leoš Svárovský, Wolfgang Czeipek, Didier Talpain, Jaroslav Vodňanský, Karol Kevický, Štefan Sedlický and Claudia Abbada.

In 2007, she graduated in Vienna with the highest marks and praise from the jury. Her repertoire includes most of the major concert works for cello.

From 2007-2010 she taught at the Žilina Conservatory. Currently she is concertmaster and cello group leader in the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra, and regularly performs as a soloist.

Roman Rusňák

The youngest member of the quartet, Roman, was born in Rožňava. He started playing the violin at the age of nine at the Elementary School in Rožňava. In 1999 he was admitted to the Conservatory in Košice, where he studied viola in the class of Russian professor Mgr. Vera Lipatova. Twice he won 1st place at the competition of Slovak conservatories in Banská Bystrica and Bratislava. He also won 3rd place at the Bohdan Varchal International Competition in Dolny Kubin.

After successfully graduating from the conservatory, he was accepted to the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, where he received his Bachelor's degree. He completed his master's studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He was a member of the Visegrad Young Philharmony project, the State Philharmonic Košice and the Janáček Opera Orchestra in Brno.

In addition to the Brahms Competition in Poertschach, Austria (2009) and the Bled Festival in Slovenia (2007), he participated in the International Viola Masterclasses in Leipzig under the direction of Tatiana Masurenko. After completing his Master's degree in 2010 he joined the Žilina State Chamber Orchestra, where he was the leader and soloist of the viola group.

Later he became a member of the viola group of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava and completed his postgraduate studies at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien under the direction of Univ. prof. Hans Peter Ochsenhofer.

He is currently a member of the Slovak Philharmonic's viola group and the Hilaris Chamber Orchestra. He also performs in the chamber ensembles The Classical Music Maniacs, Charles Coquet Trio and in 2018 he presented the project Film Music with his own ensemble.
